Don't take away any more parking

To the editor:

I am writing to express concerns with the city’s transportation department taking over public parking spaces for car share use.

There is limited parking for residents living in 10471 area — especially at the intersection of West 242nd Street and Manhattan College Parkway. I wanted to know if a public announcement can be made to bring awareness to residents on the process to submit a complaint to the DOT regarding this.

There is only one street available for parking in which the DOT has taken up two spaces for Zipcars.
