LETTER TO THE EDITOR

Electeds: Local. Local. Local.

To the Editor:

It is so nice to see our elected official expressing support for Israel in its time of need. Given the large Jewish population in our area, I would expect nothing less.

But I have a question for my NYC Council Member, Eric Dinowitz.

When do you think you can take a break from addressing international affairs and tell us local residents when our recycling is going to be collected? Before rats overrun our street?

Or communicate to the NYC DEP that perhaps they should communicate with us local residents if and when the pick up schedules are changed?

For that matter, Congressman (Ritchie) Torres: how about addressing the poor quality of local mail delivery , a federal responsibility? For as long as you’ve been representing our district, and far longer, this issue has plagued us. I have never heard you address our concerns once.

Do either of you think you can take a moment or two from your busy schedules and spend your valuable time to help us local residents to help fix local problems?

No, Assemblyman (Jeffrey) Dinowitz. Though you may want  to help, I suggest you let your son speak for himself, rather than have your typical response to such a challenge, and speak for Eric. You sir, respectfully, can focus on issues of state concern.

There, I await replies which I don’t expect to receive anytime soon.

To ALL of you-your laziness and indifference to our local issues is and has been for as long as I can recall, consistent, lacking and, well, pathetic.

You should be ashamed of yourselves.
