Santa Claus, played by Dennis Murphy gives a gift to Greer Lane, 2, as her sister VioletLane, 9, looks on during the Santa Claus Pajama Story Time at Van Cortlandt House Museum on Saturday. Mr. Murphy, a retired Military Policeman has been Santa Claus for 20 years in hospitals, nursing homes and military stations. In 2003, dressed as Santa Claus, he surprised troops in Iraq with gifts.
