LETTER TO THE EDITOR

Leave Trump on the 2024 ballot

Posted

To the Editor:

I would like to take issue with two letters published in your Jan. 18 issue by Assemblyman Jeffrey Dinowitz (and Jarret Berg) and Miriam Levine Helbok.

First, Assemblyman Dinowitz, Donald Trump was NEVER charged with insurrection. In all the charges against the President, not once was insurrection ever mentioned.

For all those who oppose Trump, you are showing yourself to be “undemocratic” by depriving him of being on the ballot. If you feel Trump to be a threat, then “beat him at the ballot box.”

To Mrs. Helbok, you are wrong historically. What wiped out the Indians was exposure to germs that Europe brought in the 15th and 16th centuries.

If Mrs. Helbok believes in “open borders,” she is wrong.
