Our crisis is tied to Trump lie

To the Editor:

By all appearances, our country is in a crisis.  The origin of the crisis is a lie. The lie coming from former President Donald Trump. 

Seemingly unbelievable yet true even when the election in 2020 was considered the most secure election ever. The lie is being reinforced by those who know better but seek favor from this former president and also by those who desire to harm our country.

Is it too simple to say as individuals and as a nation we solve problems with honesty and create problems with lies?
