Righting wrongs of past conspiracies

To the editor,

Several years ago, I wrote two separate letters to your newspaper that were thankfully printed. I am aware that most of my neighbors are neither “independents” nor moderate Conservatives, but in fact, lifelong, mostly liberal Democrats. 

The topic was the “Trump Collusion, Delusion,” created by Hillary Clinton with the help of the Perkins Coie law firm, Fusion GPS and retired British MI6 agent, Christopher Steele. After millions of dollars of wasted taxpayer money investigating this hoax, nobody was ever convicted or imprisoned for their role in this vast conspiracy. 

Hopefully, five years afterwards, with new evidence, some people may be charged with their role in this disgusting conspiracy. I feel vindicated knowing that my instincts were on target despite our mass media and cable news coverage doing nothing but parroting the same lies repeatedly for months. 

As a concerned citizen, I put myself and my family name on the line in the defense of truth, as did others.
