Support K Grill

As a relatively observant Jew who attends synagogue regularly, observes kashrut (kosher laws), and has no personal or business connection with either the K Grill or its owner, it seems to me that the local Vaad Ha’Rabbonim of Riverdale, Kosher Market and Riverdale Holding Co., are all in collusion to drive K Grill out of business. Not only for competitive reasons, but because its founder and proprietor, Dmitriy Berezovskiy, has a non-Jewish wife.

The Vaad is simply out of line, in violation of its purview, by introducing this clearly extraneous matter into the issue of whether or not the establishment meets standards of kaskhrut.

That the Vaad seems to have teamed up with the landlord and K Grill’s competitors to drive K-Grill into bankruptcy for no legitimate reason is disgraceful.

My wish is that Mr. Berezovskiy’s suit is successful, and that my friends and other fair-minded Riverdalians increase their patronage of K Grill, as will we.

L’chaim!
