Thanks to Nick and Joelle Lynch

To the Editor:

I would like acknowledge and thank Nick and Joelle Lynch, proprietors of The Tree Army. For a number of years they have lit the Chanukah menorah sponsored by Chabad Lubavitch of Riverdale, which is located at the monument at 239^th Street.

Nick and Joelle take this very seriously, and on Sunday night (Dec. 10) last during a rain storm, very few onlookers were present, but Nick and Joelle soldiered on.

Nick himself is an Army veteran who served our country with the same selfless commitment he displays as director of The Tree Army.
