Torres really does understand Israel

Riverdale’s relatively new congressman, Richie Torres, has made an impressive and successful effort to understand the complexities and nuances related to the rebirth of the Jewish people in their historic homeland, Israel.

Torres has learned how to properly evaluate and then respectfully discard the serious misrepresentations and outright lies promulgated by such antisemites as Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib.

Congressman Torres effectively provides a clear progressive voice for an amazing multi-racial, multi-ethnic, multi-religious, primarily liberal, peace-loving, democratic and tolerant nation — one which has faced continuous attempts by its Middle East neighbors to slaughter its people.

U.S. Rep. Torres also continuously works to advance a progressive agenda to help support so many in our city and country who need a hand-up to become part of a prosperous and successful America.
