Why all the messy garbage?

To the Editor:

I’m incredibly grateful for the way our BID (Kingsbridge Business Improvement District) works hard to keep our community clean.

Most of the businesses keep the front of their establishments clean. But, I’m wondering why the Chipotle on West 231^st Street is allowed to keep large, usually overfilled, now graffiti-scarred garbage cans outside of their store all day long. Why can’t they bring their garbage cans out at night?

Couple those with the motorized delivery bikes that run up onto the sidewalk from any direction at any time at the busiest bus stop in the neighborhood and we have a sometimes dangerous and ugly scene.

There are Chipotle restaurants throughout the city and never have I seen one look as messy as this one.

I’m hoping this will be addressed soon.
