15-year-old boy fatally shot in Kingsbridge Heights

Riley Billingslea, a 15-year-old boy from Fordham Manor, was fatally shot in the head Aug. 12 in Kingsbridge Heights, according to police. 

Authorities said they arrived on scene at 2825 Claflin Avenue around 5:23 p.m., where Billingslea was pronounced dead by emergency medical responders. 

A 13-year-old boy, whose name has not been released, was also found with a gunshot graze wound to the torso, police said. Responders took the boy to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition, according to police. 

There are no arrests at this time and the investigation remains ongoing, according to authorities.
