Air Force surgeon Matthew Frank, 49

Dr. Matthew A. Frank, 49, died in Texas on March 22, 2022 after a prolonged illness.
He graduated from Ethical Culture Fieldston School, SUNY Purchase and the University of Pittsburgh Medical School.
He was a member of the U.S. Air Force, serving as an orthopedic trauma surgeon in a field hospital in Afghanistan.
He was preceded in death by his beloved father, Mortimer, and adored son, Luke. He leaves his devoted mother, Carol; three cherished daughters, Lilah, Daisy and Tobin; and a granddaughter, Nova Grace Frank.
