He was an avid Giants and Yankees fan. The Beef & Ale, The Greentree, and NYPD events will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him, and will remember his enormous welcoming smile.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Elizabeth O’Connor, and by his siblings Kitty O’Brien (Bobby), Frankie O’Connor (Cleo), Ned O’Connor (Jean), Richie O’Connor, Betty Woods (Richard), and Margaret “Tootsie” Carabine.

Carabine, and Nancy O’Connor and Steve Pugliese of New York.

He was the proud loving father of Maura, Danny and Kelly O’Connor, who depended upon him always.

He was the proud grandfather of Tim and Kevin Doyle, Sean O’Connor, Daniel J. O’Connor V, and Katie and Jon Lohman.

He was excited to have his first great-grandchild, Shane Doyle.

He has loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and additional family members that he loved unconditionally.
