Generous donors give family of slain officer a new home

The Skyview-on-the-Hudson community welcomed its newest residents, the children of slain police officer Miosotis Familia, after the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation, a Staten Island nonprofit, along with The New York Daily News and Skyview Apartments LLC, raised nearly $900,000 to buy the Familia children a new co-op just in time for Christmas.
