Have a question? Let The Press answer it

Posted

The Riverdale Press is embarking on a new column here on page two, and its goal is to help our readers navigate the community with ease.

The new column, titled “Community Inquiry,” will appear right here, and wil address a new question from the community each week. Maybe there are questions bubbling up about local infrastructure or public safety, or perhaps curiosity about getting more involved with local government. This is a place for readers to ask questions, and reporters to dig for answers.

No question is ever too big or too small. Whatever is on your mind, our team will do our best to look into it. Some questions may warrant full-length stories that appear elsewhere in the paper. Regardless, our goal is to provide answers succinctly and with clarity.

Asking questions and being curious about the world bustling around us is one of the best ways to find great stories and feel more connected to the community we inhabit. We’d like to invite our readers to embrace that curiosity alongside us.

Questions can be submitted via the Google Form at linkin.bio/riverdalepress, which is also linked in The Press’ Instagram and Facebook bios. Our Instagram is @riverdalepress and our Facebook is The Riverdale Press. We share stories, breaking news, opinion polls and more on these social sites.

We also welcome questions via email. These can be sent to our newsroom tip inbox at newsroom@riverdalepress.com. For emailed questions, please put “Community Inquiry” in the subject line — this will help us find your questions faster and ensure they don’t get lost or marked as spam.

As always, we look forward to hearing from you and finding new ways to serve the community. Your readership and engagement with our paper means the world to us.

Alexa Lewis is editor-in-chief of The Riverdale Press.
