Kingsbridge Library temporarily closed for repairs

The Kingsbridge Library, 291 W. 231st St., has been closed temporarily since Jan. 24 due to emergency repairs, the library’s website states.

It is one of two libraries in the northwest Bronx that is temporarily closed. The other is the Center for Reading and Writing at the Bronx Library Center.

The Kingsbridge Library website states it will post the date of the reopening when it is confirmed. According to a Facebook post from Assemblyman Jeffrey Dinowitz, the New York Public Library is waiting on parts for HVAC repair. For more information, call (718) 548-5656.
