Goals by Phillip Kadaev and Justin Bottcher led the DJ Drugs Blue Lightning to a 2-0 win over The Riverdale Press in the Riverdale Soccer League’s Younger Division at Seton Park on Saturday.
The Blue Lightning improves to 4-0-1.

Tomas Cabo-Hervada scored two goals and Larry Currier and Evan Silverman each had one goal to lead the Killer Whales to a 4-1 victory over the Strikers Saturday afternoon at Seton Park.
Sam Maeglin’s strong defensive play helped shut down the high-powered Strikers’ offense.
Kyle Maiorano scored the Strikers’ lone goal.

The third-place Utang Orangs fought hard in a seesaw battle with second-place Solaria but eventually pulled out the 2-1 victory.
The Utang Orangs’ defense, anchored by sweeper Jason Shapiro and defensive backs Evan Brown Tobacco and Zach Byrne, held Solaria in check for most of the contest.
Forward Mike Garcia tallied the Utang Orangs’ first goal, and midfielder Alex Garcia used his superb footwork to slash by three defenders before blasting the winning goal past the Solaria goalkeeper.
Utang Orangs goalie Vincent Petrosino made the one-goal lead hold up as the win moved his squad into second place.
