Mayor Eric Adams’ proposed budget cuts for older adult centers and home-delivered meals has left many in Riverdale upset. It was previously announced that $12 million would be cut from the New York City department for the aging budget causing some older adult centers to fear that they would have to close or limit services. more

Three of the men sentenced to 25 years for plotting to blow up two Riverdale synagogues in 2009 and shoot down military planes at a Newburgh airport as part of an FBI sting are being released by the same judge who issued the original sentence in 2011. more
