To the editor,
As the Democratic primary approaches, the Bronx faces new challenges in affordability and global conflicts, and there is one candidate who possesses solutions for the good of the 15th Congressional District. That person is Michael Blake. He is a son of immigrants, an ordained reverend, a former State Assembly member and vice chair of the Democratic National Committee. Blake has committed himself to fixing the Bronx in three areas: affordability, antisemitism and conflicts aboard.
Blake understands that the Bronx is increasingly more unaffordable and will make this his focus when he heads to Congress, according to his campaign website. His solutions for affordability are expanding the supply of housing, funding NYCHA and creating more jobs in the Bronx.
Blake knows that antisemitism is a real problem in this country and has no tolerance for it. He plans to tackle antisemitism by strengthening hate crime laws and provide funding for Jewish community centers.
Blake is committed to not entangle the U.S. in more wars that raise the cost of goods or fund war crimes. He has pledged to end the war with Iran, support a ceasefire in Gaza and investigate cases of genocide and war crimes.
Michael Blake has both the political experience and the necessary policies for the good of the Bronx.
