In Loving Memory: James Patrick Reilly

May 8,1922-September 9, 2009

A wonderful Husband, Dad, Poppy, Grandpa and Great Grandfather who will be remembered for his love of family, words of wisdom and unconditional generosity.

Jim was a longtime resident of Cannon Heights in the Kingsbridge section of the Bronx, devout parishioner at Visitation Church, a retired N.Y. City Police Officer, a proud World War 11 veteran and a loyal Boston Red Soxs fan. He passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side at the age of 87.

He was the beloved husband of the late Rose (nee Harvey) for 67 years and is survived by daughters Rosellen, Jeanne and Marianne and son James as well as 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. A funeral mass was held at Visitation Church, followed by an internment at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y.
