Not right about Biden

To the editor:
(re: “And Mrs. Thomas?” April 28)
Alan Saks in his recent letter to the editor wrote that Joe Biden voted to confirm Clarence Thomas.
Biden chaired the Senate hearing committee which forwarded the nomination to the Senate at large for a vote. The New York Times and other sources record that in that vote, Biden voted no.
