Praise for local ‘Into the Woods’ performance

To the editor,

Just a note to say that, last Sunday, a friend and I attended the wonderful performance of “Into the Woods” by the Riverdale Rising Stars, at the Riverdale Y. There must have been a cast of 40 or so performers, who, in my opinion, performed as well as any Broadway show I ever attended! Having been an amateur thespian myself, I know there is a lot of hard work to bring about a great performance.

There is still time to see these young people perform through the end of May. Go if you can, and you can purchase tickets in advance online. Just Google “Riverdale Rising Stars”, and you can see which seats are available.
