Protesters and officials rallied outside the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn Oct. 13, criticizing U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's actions in the city, particularly following the Oct. 8 shooting of Oscar Belgal in Marble Hill by an ICE agent.
Officials said Belgal is being held in solitary confinement at the facility, and still has a bullet from the shooting in his neck.
