RABBI Levi Shemtov, of Chabad Lubavitch of Riverdale, and Assemblyman Jeffrey Dinowitz take part in a longtime local tradition, as they light the lamps on the giant menorah at the Bell Tower Monument. This year, a ceremony for the first night of Hanukkah, will be held at the monument, on Sunday, Dec. 21, at 4 p.m.
