Talent show

Riverdale Temple, 4545 Independence Ave., will host a dinner and talent show after its Friday services, which begin at 7 p.m.
The events take place as the temple celebrates the confirmation of Renata Gerecke, David Greenblatt and Zachary Millar, who will lead the evening's contemporary and participatory services. Services that evening will be accompanied by the temple's junior choir.
The dinner will include potluck dessert and beverages, and is also an opportunity to donate canned food for the Kingsbridge- Riverdale Mental Health food drive.
