SUNY Canton academic honors for Jonathan Laureano, Olga Grajeda-Giske

Riverdale’s Jonathan Laureano earned a spot on the president’s list during his fall semester for maintaining a 3.75 GPA or greater.

“Your remarkable achievement is a reflection of your unwavering dedication, persistent effort, and exceptional academic prowess,” school president Zvi Szafran commented. “I am immensely proud to witness your success and observe your excellence in this highly competitive academic environment. May this accomplishment propel you towards even greater achievements in your future endeavors.”

Greater Riverdale’s Olga Grajeda-Giske, a part-time student at SUNY Canton, received academic honors.

To earn academic honors students must maintain a 3.25 GPA while taking 6 to 11 credits of coursework. Grajeda-Giske is currently pursuing an applied psychology major.

SUNY Canton offers bachelor’s and associate’s degrees in engineering technology, management, and healthcare. The school is SUNY’s leader in online education and offers 23 online degree programs.

Quinnipiac University dean’s list

Sabrina Hernandez, Julia Miranti, and Thomas Moss of greater Riverdale were all named to the dean’s list for their fall semester. All of these students maintained at least a 3.5 GPA while taking the minimum 14 credits to secure their role on the list.

Quinnipiac University located in Hamden, Connecticut, is a private school with roughly 9,000 students. They offer 110 degree programs in their Schools of Business, Communications, Education, Computing and Engineering, Health Sciences, Law, Medicine, Nursing, and the College of Arts and Sciences.

Roger Williams
University dean’s list

Meghan Harvey of greater Riverdale was added to the fall dean’s list at Roger Williams University. Students on the dean’s list have maintained a GPA of 3.4 or higher while completing 12 or more credits during their semester.

Roger Williams University, located in Bristol, Rhode Island, offers 50 major programs for students. They host Rhode Island’s only law school and offer other graduate and professional programs spread throughout their eight schools of study.

They are committed to engaging students critically in the hopes that the skills they learn at the uiniversity can be practically applied to their lives beyond.
