To the Editor: I am writing to express my frustration and disappointment at the New York Jewish community’s relative silence on the current situation in Israel. The identitarian left is out in our streets, our college campuses and in the media calling for an end to a war started by the monsters of Hamas and we sit here, in the comfort of our homes, too frightened to stand in opposition to them. more

Every Nov. 11 the soldiers who have fought bravely and gave their lives for this country to protect the rights we hold dearly are remembered with parades and solemn ceremonies at military grave sites. more

To the Editor:  State Assemblyman Jeffrey Dinowitz sent two troubling emails to constituents after the most recent eruption of violence in Israel/Palestine. In his Oct. 12 email, Mr. Dinowitz dishonestly mischaracterized Jewish Voice for Peace, a group I have belonged to for almost a decade.  more
