Maureen Stanley, cherished by so many who loved her, 79

Maureen Stanley

Maureen Stanley, née O’Callaghan, passed away Feb. 11, 2022, at St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Yonkers. She was 79.

She was a lifelong Bronx resident, spending her early years in the Fordham Road/University Avenue neighborhood before moving to her longtime home of Riverdale.

She was the loving daughter of the late John and Gertrude (née Doyle) O’Callaghan, dear sister of the late Kathleen (the late Sean) Cooney, and the late Thomas (Mary) O’Callaghan. She also was a loving aunt, great-aunt, dear cousin, and cherished friend to many.

Services and burial were held at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne.
