Former Community Board 8 district manager Ciara Gannon has taken up a new post as director of community boards and legislative affairs with borough president Vanessa Gibson. Her replacement will "have big shoes to fill," said CB8 chair Laura Spalter. CB8 celebrated Gannon's five-year tenure with the board at Yukka on Riverdale Avenue Tuesday evening.
