To the editor:
I was outside a local store recently. I am a retired public health nurse, and I was horrified that not only were people not social distancing inside, shoppers were entering without masks or face covers.
One elderly woman, fully functional, one Orthodox rabbi — I yelled at him and made him promise and scolded him, but he didn’t focus. The staff was wearing masks, but not properly, exposing their noses.
One young man said he knew people are getting sick from the community. The store — and every store — should not permit entry without a mask or face cover. Final.
Please expose this.
I didn’t go into a nearby grocery store, but I’m sure it’s similar.
What about death is funny in all this?
