To the editor:
(re: “After family hit by car, leaders call for study,” Sept. 5)
I don’t know if it’s irony or chutzpah to see Assemblyman Jeffrey Dinowitz on the front page of your paper talking about traffic problems and hazards on Riverdale Avenue, when just the week before, I was following right behind his car going south on Riverdale Avenue until it made an illegal left turn — right after the “no turns” sign before West 231st Street.
If he wants to do that, maybe he shouldn’t have official license plates that say “New York State Assembly.”
